Project Title: Strengthening Organic Cotton Value Chains through Implementing Partner Due Diligence
Partner: Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA)
Objective: To assess the capacity, readiness, and alignment of OCA’s potential implementing partners (IPs) with the Farm Programme goals.
Approach:
- Desk reviews, field visits, FGDs, and risk scoring.
- Tools used include risk indices, SWOT analysis, and corrective action planning.
Key Activities Conducted:
- Identify operational gaps and suggest corrective actions.
- Provide feedback on OCA-customized M&E tools and use the updated tools for data collection and for analysis
- Submit tailored recommendations to improve programme delivery.
Outcome:
- Clear risk categorization of IPs (0–100 score)
- Recommendations for capacity-building
- Strengthened accountability and delivery for long-term farmer benefit
