  • Implementation of pilot projects and field trials, scaling up existing programmes and designing & implementing new initiatives
  • We identify, assess, conceive and deliver viable, sustainable and innovative solutions for social enterprises working with poor and disadvantaged sections of society
  • Setting up systems and procedures to ensure that the funds are utilised efficiently, timely and deliver the desired impact

Our partnership with various stakeholders working in different thematic areas mentioned below has shown significant impact.

Livelihood

Change Alliance with its wide network of partners has helped in building thriving livelihoods by improving access to and control of communities over natural resources, enhancing productive returns on resources, market linkage and financial inclusion.

Skill development

The key contours of Change Alliance’s skill development outreach involve mobilisation of communities, building partnership with local civil society organisations and skill training providers for an extensive reach as well as designing and conducting locally appropriate skill development programmes (mobilization, identification, retention, skilling, placement and tracking).

Education

Our approach on education focusses on effective implementation of the Right to Education Act, 2009. The specific interventions promoted are providing education to most marginalized children, strengthening school management bodies, improving enrolment, increasing retention, providing digital education to the disadvantaged and ensuring that schools are inclusive.

Health & Nutrition

For health and nutrition programmes, we utilise our networks across India to reach the last mile. Through our in-depth knowledge of health & nutrition issues, we support our partners with tested tools and processes to manage inclusive health and nutrition programmes for specific gender, age and group.

PACS : Our Rights, Our Voice

PACS or The Poorest Areas Civil Society Programme was an initiative of the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID). Its aim was to help socially excluded sections to claim their rights and entitlements more effectively.

Change Alliance was one of the managing consultants of the consortium that managed PACS. This showcased our capabilities in managing large development programmes across large and remote geographies, deep engagement with civil society and creating a meaningful social impact.

PACS Programme worked in partnership with 225 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in 7 of India’s poorest states covering 90 districts, 517 blocks, 22,404 villages, 23,206 Community Based Organisations (CBOs) and reached 9.62 million people from poor and margainalised communities.
